At this time, we do not accept insurance. Therapy services range in price from $50-175 per session depending the clinician. Some of our therapists also offer sliding scale options. A superbill can be provided. Superbills can often be used by your insurance to process for out-of-network benefits or apply towards meeting your out-of-network deductible. Prior to beginning therapy, we recommend contacting your insurance company so you understand what, if any, benefits may be available to you. If you have any concerns about the cost of treatment, please discuss it with your provider. All our therapists set their own rates and manage their own billing.

First sessions look different for everyone, but your therapist will do everything they can to ensure you feel safe and welcome. When you enter our waiting room, coffee, tea and water are provided. Have a seat and at the time of your appointment, your therapist will come get you. Typically, your therapist will begin by taking some time learning more about what brought you in or simply getting to know you. By the end of the session, your therapist will take a few minutes to discuss scheduling and next steps. And at any time, if you have questions, just ask! We believe therapy is a collaborative process and works best when clients feel comfortable sharing their questions and concerns along the way.

So. Many. Reasons. You are tired of fighting with your spouse or battling your addiction alone. You might experience anxiety or depression and want to live a better life. Maybe you feel grief over the loss of a family member or friend and are not sure how to process it. Perhaps you are facing divorce and need help. Maybe you have experienced abuse, whether in your childhood or in your adult life, and it has changed the way you see yourself and this world.
Whatever it is that brought you here, it is not working anymore and something needs to change. Change, of all sorts, can be confusing and painful but the prospect of life being different can be so hopeful. Therapy is about change towards a vision that is full of hope. This is a place where you can say, I don't like this and I want to be different. We would like to do that work with you.

Morning Light Therapy is privileged to be an internship site for the Masters of Family Therapy at Friends University program. Our graduate student interns are working towards their masters and eventual clinical licensure. This time allows them to develop hands on experience and provide affordable care to those who need it. Students are clinically supervised by the University and mentored by the clinicians at Morning Light. Therapists are recorded in session to help develop skills and provide feedback. Videos are deleted weekly. Student therapists are able to offer a lower fee for their quality care.

Yes! A good faith estimate notice is a legal document that tells uninsured or self-pay patients the expected total cost of non-emergency medical care. This estimate will include what we anticipate you would spend while completing therapy at our practice.
