Heather Hingston
M.S., LCMFT (MO&KS), LMAC (KS)
Heather is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and owner of Morning Light Therapy. She is a Licensed Master’s Addictions Counselor in the State of Kansas as well as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Missouri. Heather obtained her Masters of Science in Family Therapy at Friends University. She specializes in addictive processes while also treating a variety of issues for individuals, couples and families.
She believes that having the courage to respond to the pain in our lives takes hope and vision. Heather sees her role in her clients' lives as being a source of safety and creativity to help recognize, address and define the pain they face.
She is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, the Kansas Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and the Association for Addiction Professionals. She is also certified as a Prepare/Enrich Facilitator.
