Student Therapist/Graduate Intern
Elyse is a student therapist pursuing her Master of Science in Family Therapy at Friends University. She is practicing under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist who is an AAMFT-approved supervisor through Friends University. Elyse is also a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator.
She acts as a guide to help clients alongside their healing journey. After beginning her own healing journey over ten years ago, she is passionate about helping individuals, relationships, and families create lasting change. Through her journey, she has navigated trauma, family dynamics, grief, and identity work with disability, ethnicity/race, and spirituality. She draws from her lived experiences to create connection, empowerment, and hope. She strives to understand client goals, build a trusting relationship, and follow the client's lead toward finding peace and gaining confidence.
Elyse is accepting new clients.
Elyse’s rate is $50/session. She also offers therapy at a sliding scale to those in need.
